Welcome from the Delta Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta!

Alpha Xi Delta inspires women to realize their potential by providing opportunities for sisterhood, leadership, knowledge, and service. Since our founding in 1893, we have grown into a strong organization consisting of more than 162,000 initiated members.

As one of the nation's oldest women's fraternities, Alpha Xi Delta is dedicated to inspiring its members to realize their fullest potential. The Delta Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta was established at Bethany in 1903 and is the longest-standing female Greek organization on campus.  Throughout the years, the members of the Delta Chapter have established themselves as leaders on campus, both academically and through the various clubs and activities at Bethany. Furthermore, the Delta Chapter has recently announced our new philanthropy, The Kindly Hearts Initiative. This program allows us to connect with a local organization directly! Beginning in 2022, the Delta Chapter has been in gracious partnership with The Children's Home Society of West Virginia in Wheeling, WV. All sisters are thrilled to be "Fostering Xi Love" and have truly enjoyed the positive impact that has resulted from this change!

We have a very unique and strong sisterhood that we love to share! We embrace diversity and ensure that no one is left behind. Everyone is shown that they hold real merit and worth here. The women of the Delta Chapter courageously lead, graciously excel, and peacefully uphold the values given to us by our founders.
