Delta

at Bethany College

Letter From Membership Vice President

Hello all! My name is Amber, and I am the Delta Chapter’s Membership Vice President. Currently at Bethany, I am a Biology Major. Before coming to Bethany I had not given much thought to Greek life, but now it has become an essential piece of my life. Being a part of the Greek community is one of the very best things about attending Bethany, I can truly say that it has changed my life for the better. I, along with the rest of the Delta Chapter, are thrilled to meet all of the PNMs this fall  during recruitment. Our sisterhood is anxiously waiting to be shared with you.

Alpha Xi Delta has impacted me in ways that I cannot even begin to explain. I have never felt more sure of myself as a woman, and the confidence and strength it has given me as a woman is irreplaceable. The Delta Chapter is full of beautiful, unique women, and I could not be more thankful. We always bring out the absolute best in each other, and always offer one another an accepting environment, which is crucial on such a diverse campus. There are always laughs and joys shared with each other, and even on my worst days I know that my sisterhood can lift me up in a way nothing else could.  It has made me appreciate my merit and worth and become the woman I have always wanted to be.

To all of you powerful, amazing women going through recruitment- DO NOT FEAR! It can be a stressful time, we have all been there, and been nervous going through, but I PROMISE you it will all be worth it in the end. You will end up in a chapter that is ideal for you, and you will find your home away from home. This week you will fall in love with a group of women that not only make your college years unforgettable, but will change you for the rest of your life. If you ever have any questions, do not be afraid to contact me at alamotte@bethanywv.edu.

I wish you all the very best!

XoXi,

Amber LaMotte
